Ab egg

Ab egg (pour.)

In a literal translation: of eggs, figuratively - from the beginning. These are the first two words of a famous ancient Roman saying: „Ab ovo uspue ad mala” (from egg to apples), which figuratively meant "from beginning to end", as eggs served in various forms were a favorite appetizer in Roman cuisine, and apples – dessert.
