Beef with ginger (Beef with Ginger) – Liver With Onions (Liver and Onions)

Beef with ginger (Beef with Ginger) – Portion for 2 people

100 g of beef (loin, rostbef) cut along the fibers into thin strips
2 teaspoons of ground rice or potato flour for thickening
a small piece of ginger root, peeled and finely chopped
1 spoon of oil (tooth. possibilities)
1 spring onion, peeled and finely chopped, for garnish

Coat the meat strips in potato flour or ground rice. Fry the ginger in oil through 1 min. Add the meat and fry, stirring, about 5 minutes. Take the pan off the heat, sprinkle the meat with chopped onion and serve with hot boiled rice, grilled tomatoes and green leafy vegetables such as cabbage or spinach.

POSSIBILITIES

Oil: sunflower, saffron or other allowed
CAUTION: It is a very tasty and quick beef dish. Perfect with peas and carrots.

 

Liver With Onions (Liver and Onions) – Portion for 1 persons

1 medium onion
1 spoon of oil (tooth. possibilities)
ok. 75 g of lamb or veal liver
breading flour (tooth. possibilities)

Slice the onion and fry in oil for approx 5 minutes, stirring all the time, to brown. Use a slotted spoon to remove the onion from the pan and keep it warm.
Wash and clean the liver. Toss in flour. Fry in a pan after approx 1 minutes on each side, turning only once. Transfer to a dish with onion. Make a sauce from the juice remaining in the pan.

POSSIBILITIES

Oil: sunflower, saffron or other allowed
Flour: potato, rice or other allowed
