How to quickly make a sponge cake?
I need a simple and proven recipe 🙂 nothing fancy
INSTANT BEATED SPONGE
- 115 g of sifted flour
- 5 ml baking powder
- 115 g margarine
- 115 g of powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
Preheat the oven to temperature 160 degrees, diameter springform pans 20 cm (or a ring-shaped form) grease with butter, Line the bottom with wax breakfast paper, then grease the paper again. Grease the ring-shaped form with butter and sprinkle with flour. Sift the flour into a bowl, mix thoroughly with baking powder. We add margarine, sugar and stick 2 eggs. Grate the ingredients with a wooden spoon and beat them for approx 3 minutes. The biscuit mass should be homogeneous, bright and slightly shiny.
Using a spoon, put the dough into a prepared springform pan or mold and bake it 20 do 30 minutes. Checking if it is baked, press it lightly with your fingers in the middle – if the sponge cake is hard, finish baking, if it is still soft, leave it in the oven for a moment. You can also stick a thin stick in the middle (toothpick), dry stick after removing means, that the dough is ready. Put the sponge cake on the grill , we take out the greased paper and cool it in a springform pan.
The taste of the sponge cake will be enriched and diversified by various additives:
- Chocolate sponge cake – add to the basic biscuit mass 15 ml of cocoa powder prepared previously with 15 ml of boiling water
- Citrus sponge cake – mix the sponge cake with 2 teaspoons of finely grated lemon peel, oranges or limes.
