Ground beef cutlets (Beefburgers)

Ground beef cutlets (Beefburgers) – Portion for 2 people

100 g lean beef, ground
1/2 slices of bread, crushed
1/3 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 a small apple grated on a fine grater
broth (tooth. possibilities)
herbal spices (tooth. possibilities)
freshly ground black pepper (freely)
breading flour (tooth. possibilities)
frying oil (tooth. possibilities)

Put the meat in the bowl, bread crumbs, onions, Apple, pour in the stock and add spices. All mix thoroughly with a fork. Season to taste with pepper. Form two flat cakes and coat in flour. Heat a little oil in a frying pan, fry the meat on both sides 2-3 minutes, turning carefully.
Drain on a paper towel, serve hot with boiled potatoes, green vegetables and grilled tomatoes.

POSSIBILITIES

Broth: 3 teaspoons of homemade broth, 1 a teaspoon of tomato puree mixed with 2 teaspoons of water or gravy
Herbal spices: 2 pinches of thyme, 2 pinches of sage, 1/4 a crushed garlic clove or 1/4 teaspoons of real French mustard
Oil: sunflower, saffron or other permitted Flour: potato, rice, buckwheat or ground rice

CAUTION: Mustard should be avoided on a yeast-free diet. Mustard, however, is acceptable in gluten-free and wheat-excluding diets. Wheat-free or gluten-free bread can be used as appropriate.
