Tea in cosmetics

Increasingly, tea is used not only for consumption, but it is also used during cosmetic procedures or the production of cosmetics. The most positive properties, caring for our body, has white and green tea. These are the types most often used in cosmetics. Green, however, leads the way in the frequency of its use, because it is better known and has undergone a lot of research. White tea is not well understood yet, to use it on such a large scale.

Tea contains ingredients called polyphenols. They have a very positive effect on the appearance of our skin, because they fight free radicals. Thanks to these relationships, blood vessels are strengthened, and the skin is effectively protected against UV rays, and hence, ages slower. For this reason, tea is used in the production of many anti-wrinkle cosmetics. Unfortunately, the production of cosmetics with polyphenols is extremely difficult.

Tea is also used in the production of cosmetics, serving young people, even the one in adolescence. Tea extracts help in combating severe oily skin. By reducing the activity of the sebaceous glands, thus preventing the appearance of pimples on the face. This property is also used in the production of hair cosmetics, especially anti-dandruff shampoos and preparations for oily hair.

Don't forget about the anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties of tea leaves. Tea is also used in cosmetics because of its beautiful fragrance. Perfume is not hard to find, or other cosmetics, fragrant e.g.. green tea.

Not infrequently, at home, eye compresses with the use of tea are also used. It is enough to put wet and cooled bags on the eyelids, to get rid of unsightly puffiness under the eyes. Green tea compresses can help with minor sunburns. Interestingly, tea can also be used as a peeling. Just mix the crushed leaves with your cream or body lotion. If you have dark hair, you should also rinse it with tea from time to time, which will make them shine and make them, that they will look beautiful and healthy. Our feet, on the other hand, will be grateful for a tea bath, especially after a hard and tiring day.
