How to prepare a pizza dough?
Ingredients for a dough with a diameter of approx 35 cm
2 teaspoons of dried yeast
3/4 cups of warm water
3 cups of wheat flour
1 spoon of salt
20 ml of olive oil
Put the yeast in a small bowl, add 4 tablespoons of water and set aside for a minute, let the yeast wet a little. Mash lightly with a fork, until the yeast is completely dissolved in the water. Sift the flour, seasoned with salt, until large, the best warmed bowl. Make a well in the center of the flour, pour crushed yeast into it, olive oil and the rest of the prepared water. Use your hand to gradually dissolve successive portions of liquid flour. Continue mixing until, until all the flour is mixed with the liquid, and the kneaded dough will take on a consistent consistency.
Put the dough on a pastry board sprinkled with flour. Knead the dough approx 5 minutes, until it becomes smooth, silky and elastic. Shape the dough into a ball, put it into a bowl greased with oil and turn it several times, to thoroughly and evenly lubricate the entire surface. Cover the bowl with a thin layer, plastic bag and set aside in a warm place for an hour, to make the dough rise – should double its volume. Put the dough out again on the pastry board sprinkled with flour. Strike lightly, to let the air out, then carefully knead to a smooth consistency.
Roll out the dough into a round or square cake, approx 5 mm. Place in a lightly oiled pizza pan or on a regular baking tray. Then add all ingredients (depends on what recipe we use) and put it in the oven. Bake until now, until the dough is plump and golden at the edges.
