Peanut roast (Nut Roast)

Peanut roast (Nut Roast) Portion for 1 persons

1/4 medium onion, finely chopped
50 g of ground nuts (tooth. possibilities)
1/2 apples grated on a fine grater
1/2 medium potato grated on a coarse grater
1 carrot, finely grated pinch of salt
freshly ground black pepper (freely)
a pinch of herbs (tooth. possibilities)
water
oil to lubricate the mold (tooth. possibilities)

Combine all ingredients in a bowl, adding as much water, to get a thick mass. Grease a flat ovenproof dish and fill with the mixture, leveling the top. Bake approx 45 minutes in a moderately hot oven (190°C), serve hot, with potatoes or rice and leafy vegetables or peas.

Peanuts: hazelnuts, Italian, Brazilian or almonds
Herbs: basil, thyme, sage or oregano
Oil: sunflower, saffron or other allowed
