Partridge (Perdix perdix)

Partridge (Perdix perdix)

Not a very big game bird (length approx 28 cm), tremendously useful, for it eats insects and weed seeds, common in Poland. Partridge meat is a delicacy highly appreciated by amateurs of "feathered game". Unfortunately, fresh partridges are rarely sold, but when you "hunt” eat them in Delikatesy – allocate one per person, because it is a bird not only tasty, but (especially after plucking) and small.
