Pancakes with ham

Ingredients for 8 portions: 1 egg,2 glasses of milk, 2 glasses of flour, 1/4 a glass of sparkling mineral water, after 20 a dag of ham and cheese, pinch of baking powder, Oil, salt

1. Crack the egg into a tall dish, add milk. Mix it up, and then, further mixing, in batches add the flour sifted together with a pinch of baking powder and a pinch of salt and carbonated mineral water (you can also replace it with beer).

2. Put the prepared pancake dough on 20-30 minutes, so that it thickens (it should have the consistency of sour cream). Meanwhile, prepare the stuffing ingredients.

3. Ham (or any sausage, you have in the fridge) cut into pieces. Cheese (Gouda, edamski, Podlasie, Tilsit) grate on a large mesh grater. Cover, lest it dry out.

4. Heat a little oil for a while. Scoop out the pancake batches in batches. Fry browned and fluffy pancakes (add oil if necessary). Take them off the pan and keep them warm.

5. Place a portion of cheese and cold cuts on each fried pancake. Roll the rolls, each section in half. You can serve the prepared pancakes immediately on the table.

6. If you made pancakes the day before, put them in a greased casserole dish and heat for approx. 20 minutes at temp. 160 st. Additionally, before reheating, you can sprinkle them with grated cheese.
