Bianco Capena is produced on the grounds, where agricultural production has firmly entrenched, centuries-old traditions. Wine production area, located approx 30 km north of Rome, covers the entire territory of the municipality of Capena and part of the territory of the municipalities of Fiano Romano, Morlupo i Castelnuovo di Porto. The area is also famous for its olive groves, where the excellent quality extra virgin olive oil comes from.

Bianco Capena is obtained from the classic grape varieties grown in the Castelli Romani area, to which selected clones of the Malvasia strain are also added (Malvasia di Candia, Malvasia del Lazio, Malvasia i Malvasia di Toscana) oraz Trebbiano (Trebbiano Toscano, Trebbiano Romagnolo i Trebbiano Giallo). Bellone and Bombino grapes are also used in small amounts (lub Bonvino). The latter variety, also known as Uva di Spagna, despite, that her Spanish ancestry can be almost 100% ruled out with certainty, it has been cultivated in the Lazio region for centuries. In the past, it was eagerly chosen by local winemakers, who valued it above all for its high efficiency and excellent adaptability to unfavorable climatic conditions.

Bianco Capena is a quality white wine, perfect as an addition to a meal. It has always been overshadowed by the competition of Castelli wines, preferred by consumers more because of their prestige, than actually higher qualitative values. Investments made in the recent period, mainly in the improvement of cultivation methods and modernization of production, have brought tangible results in the form of wine of even better quality.
