In teahouses and supermarkets we can find a wide selection of various teas - homogeneous, flavored, fruit mixtures, etc. Sometimes it is worth trying to change and treat yourself to a delicious and aromatic one, and most of all natural tea with spices. Although, it will take longer to prepare, than brewing regular express tea, however, the great taste and aroma will compensate for the effort put in and provide a real feast for all the senses.

Tea infusion is one of the beverages most consumed by us. On the one hand, this is a positive phenomenon, because tea contains many ingredients that have a beneficial effect on our body, m.in. flawonoidy, which capture free radicals or catechins that protect against cardiovascular diseases. On the other hand, drinking tea every day made, that its taste has become commonplace and does not make any impression on us. Therefore, it is worth finding a free moment, to rediscover the unique taste of tea infusion. We especially recommend teas with spices (ginger, cardamom, cinnamon) with the addition of milk, which have a warming effect, and also stimulate the senses.

 

Ginger and mint tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of crushed ginger
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
  • ½ glass of milk
  • 2 glasses of water
  • honey to taste
  • 2 teaspoons of black leaf tea

Preparation:

Pour water into the saucepan, Pour mint and a teaspoon of ginger and bring to a boil.

We reduce the heat and cook it through 2 min.

Add the milk and bring to the boil.

Take the saucepan from the fire, add tea and let it brew through 3 minutes.

We pour the tea into cups and, if necessary, add honey to taste.

 

Almond tea (BADAAM)

Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons of black leaf tea
  • 3 glasses of water
  • 1 ½ teaspoon of fennel seeds
  • 8 whole almonds
  • 1/4 cup of milk

Preparation:

In a semi-circle in a saucepan, boil water with fennel seeds.

We reduce the fire, add milk and cook for a while.

Take the saucepan off the heat, add tea and let it brew through 3 min.

Crumble the almonds and sprinkle them into 2 cups.

Pour the tea into cups and add sugar or honey to taste.

Cinnamon and cream tea

Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons of black tea
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 glasses of milk
  • honey to taste

Preparation:

Boil milk with cinnamon.

Take it off the heat and add the tea.

We brew through 3-4 minutes and add honey to taste.

We pour the tea into cups.

 

Persian rose cardamom

Ingredients:

  • 1 a teaspoon of sugar
  • 6 glasses of water
  • 4 crushed cardamom grains
  • fresh mint leaves to garnish
  • 2 teaspoons of black leaf tea
  • rose water to taste

Preparation:

In a medium saucepan, boil water with cardamom and sugar.

We reduce the fire.

When the sugar is completely dissolved, we add tea leaves.

We brew through 3 minutes, then add rose water to taste.

Pour the tea into cups and serve with fresh mint.
